Canadian Forces Aerospace Warfare Centre

This two-storey office building at CFB Trenton was developed for the Department of National Defence and Defence Construction Canada. The design features an open and flexible office layout that supports secure yet visually connected workspaces, enhanced by a central atrium, high ceilings, and low-height partitions.

The building achieved LEED Gold certification, incorporating high-performance energy systems, optimized building orientation, and permeable site paving to support sustainability goals. A raised access floor system enables displacement heating and cooling for improved occupant comfort, while also accommodating specialized IT cabling.

BBA provided full-service delivery as Architect, Structural Engineer, and Landscape Architect, including planning, feasibility analysis, design, construction documents, and contract administration.
