The project features an addition for a substantial new multi-purpose room, which is intended to provide a permanent home for a volunteer run youth music program which has been a fixture of this facility for over 13 years. The existing structure will be substantially renovated with new washrooms, accessible features, envelope upgrades, along with mechanical and electrical retrofits. The project also includes a public commissioned art piece to be installed upon completion.

Construction was complete in fall 2026 and the community is looking forward to occupying the new space and resuming programming.
