McKinny Sports Complex

BBA served as Project Architect, Structural Engineer, and Landscape Architect for the design and working drawings of a new three-pad arena as part of a successful design-build submission.

The facility includes three NHL-size rinks—one dedicated to figure skating—and an upper mezzanine with meeting rooms and dry training space. BBA led the full design, including architectural, structural, site, and landscape components.

Key features include a central refrigeration plant with heat recovery, low-E ceiling insulation, an airtight precast concrete envelope, and durable terrazzo flooring throughout the main lobby.
