Benson Centre

The Benson Centre is a multisport recreational facility featuring three NHL-sized rinks, an indoor fieldhouse with a soccer field and tennis court, and community meeting rooms and offices.

Built on a brownfield site of a former paper factory, the project was funded through the Canada Infrastructure Stimulus Program and completed by March 2011. Construction was managed in sequential tender packages to allow work to proceed while designs were finalized.
