Durham College, Ontario Tech University, and the City of Oshawa partnered to develop a shared athletic facility designed to serve both post-secondary institutions and the broader community.

BBA’s competition-winning design delivers a dynamic sports complex that acts as a central hub and gathering place for students, athletes, and faculty, while also providing valuable recreational amenities for the City of Oshawa.

Positioned as a gateway building to the campus, Ontario Tech University’s ice arena and future pool complex are strategically sited on an angle to frame views into the pool and lobby, enhancing transparency and creating a strong sense of arrival.
